Apple Mac keyboardAll downloaded and online tools have keyboard shortcuts and each operating system has its own version. Using the mouse and the keyboard at the same time is critical to optimising productivity; the most output for the least effort.

The most important ones for building and operating websites are PC Function 5 (F5)/Mac Command plus Option plus I (Cmd+Opt+I) and PC Function 12 (F12)/Mac Command plus R (Cmd+R):

Dell PC KeyboardThere are a large number of additional keyboard shortcuts for Chrome, Firefox and Safari browsers, and for the Windows and Macintosh operating systems. Some such as Control+S/Command+P and Control+P/Command+P are useful in when using Microsoft Word of Apple Pages but are of limited use when using a browser to build or operate websites.

Chrome DevTools, Safari Web Inspector, Firefox Developer Tools and all of the other browsers' developer tools also have keyboard shortcuts for when they are being used frequently enough.
