It is good to see that the total College websites using a 1) responsive template, 2) staffed live chat, 3) a favicon, 4) social media links that open in target="_blank" and 5) an HTML sitemap has increased from 10 to 19 (from 430).

Affiliate Organisations in the Footer Sections

The most recent review of College Websites is of our use of Media Assets and Organisations in the Affiliates Footers:

9 Colleges (from 430) achieved a 5/5 grade for 1) consistent design, 2) responsive display, 3)  transparent .png (or same colour .jpg) background, 4) mouseover effect, and 5) an active hyperlink opening in target="_blank":

Most website affiliates footers include out of date logos, such as the Two Ticks Positive About Disabled People, which since July 2016 has been Disability Confident (elements on request from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and more recently the Association of Colleges have had a full rebrand.

Sectorwide Ranking Report for October

A full year of data deserves presenting as a mean average. The most significant detail are the consistent leading performers producing an s-shape curve. These below are the top ten College websites by mean average for 2016/17:

Even when taking into consideration weighting based on annual turnover (column KI) shows that technical practice, at most a level 5 qualification, is the critical variable.
