Rob Bosworth is the Principal and Chief Executive of The Cornwall College Group (TCCG). He previously worked as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Exeter College where he was pivotal in enhancing the educational framework of the college, contributing more than two decades of expertise to help shape its outstanding educational offer and student services.
Recognised for his innovative approach to education, Rob is an Honorary member of the City & Guilds Group for his commitment to vocational excellence and innovative partnerships. In addition to creating academies with Exeter Chiefs, Exeter City Football Club and Michelin Star Chef Michael Caines, Rob also was instrumental in establishing the Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre and the Future Skills Centre.
Rob’s leadership at Exeter College, along with his roles in the Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust, the South West Institute of Technology, and the Exeter Chamber of Commerce, have significantly shaped education and skills strategies to meet industry demands. He is passionate about place-making and is deeply driven by the civic role colleges play in their communities.

John Evans
John has more than 30 years’ experience, mainly in outstanding General Further Education Colleges in the South West.
He held the post of Principal of Yeovil College since January 2014, following a role as Vice Principal for Curriculum and Quality of Swindon College.
John also worked at Bridgwater and South Devon Colleges, as Head of Motor Vehicle, Construction & Engineering and Head of Technology respectively.
John has a wealth of experience in developing and leading improvements at each of the Colleges that he has worked.
He has spoken at numerous national conferences on how to become an outstanding college.
John has a close connection to the region and understands the role that an inspiring and outstanding college can play in the local and business community.
