Jason’s teaching career began as a lecturer in Sport and Leisure and he has been a senior manager for many years. Jason has led significant improvements across the RNN Group since he became CEO and Principal in 2019 with the Group Colleges being awarded Ofsted good status across all judgements in November 2022. Jason is Chair of the South Yorkshire Colleges Partnership and is on the Board of trustees with the North Notts BID which provides a co-ordinated, area based, multi-stakeholder approach to improving locations within the North Nottinghamshire BID boundary. |
Jason Austin is CEO and Principal of the RNN Group, a Further Education College Group that meets the needs of thousands of employers, adults and school leavers every year. His experience incorporates 30 years of teaching and managing in the Further Education sector, having worked in five Colleges undertaking various teaching and management roles overseeing many aspects of curriculum and quality improvement.
