Barry was appointed Principal at Pembrokeshire College in April 2019 following a year acting as Interim Principal. He had been Deputy Principal at the College since 2012. His career has included research, lecturing, and senior management roles at Croydon College, Kingston University, Halmstad University, Sweden and Xiamen University, China.
