She has worked with young people in the 16-19 age group all her teaching career and spent four years working in a school in Sydney, Australia. She became an Assistant Director with responsibility for Gifted and Talented students and worked with the local consortium helping to implement the 14-19 Diplomas. She was appointed Deputy Principal for Student Services in June 2009 and has been the Designated Safeguarding Lead. Both her children have been through the College and on to university and they thoroughly enjoyed their time here. Catherine was appointed as Principal from 1 September 2018. |
Catherine is a graduate from Magdalen College Oxford with a degree in Modern History and a PGCE also from Oxford University. She was appointed to the College as a Personal Tutor and History teacher in 2004, having previously been a Head of Sixth Form in a comprehensive school in Shropshire.
