Peter brings a wealth of experience from across the Further Education and wider skills sectors, having most recently led the delivery and quality improvement function of a large FE provider, focused upon offender learner across England and Wales. Prior to that Peter was CEO of a regional skills provider, delivering employability and skills support to disengaged and vulnerable people, with previous experience also including spells as Principal/CEO at two large FE colleges, as COO of England’s largest Multi Academy Trust, Executive Director for the Learning & Skills Council and Assistant Director for Education and Skills in a large urban Local Authority. Before moving into the education and skills sector, Peter enjoyed a successful commercial career working with large employers in the world of corporate banking.

Malcolm Goodwin
Malcolm was appointed Principal and Chief Executive in 2017 having previously been Deputy Principal at Capel Manor since 2013. Before that he has worked in two other land-based further education colleges having changed careers from information technology and horticulture. Malcolm has had a varied career including roles for at The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Windsor Great Park, The Department of Health, Capgemini Consulting, The Channel Tunnel Project, Thames Water, The European Space Agency and Carlton TV (ITV). He a trustee of the horticulture charity Perennial, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture and a Fellow of the Linnaean Society.
