Principal
Leon Riley |
As Principal, my role is to ensure that all aspects at John Leggott College are outstanding. I am lucky to be the custodian of one of the oldest and most successful Sixth Form Colleges in the country. I am committed to ensuring that the learners who come to John Leggott College are equipped with the keys to their future success, from strong academic results to providing them with opportunities to develop themselves as individuals. My staff are focused on making the time students spend at John Leggott College memorable and rewarding. I have always worked in sixth form education and started my teaching career at John Leggott in 1995. I have held a number of senior management roles and was the college Ofsted nominee at a previous college when it was graded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas. Whilst I’ve worked out of the region, I have been a North Lincolnshire resident since starting my teaching career. My family live near Brigg and I enjoy being a part of this community. I have come back to this college because I am passionate about the college and the community it serves, ensuring that it is an inclusive environment for all its learners. Outside of college I enjoy spending time with my family, and being from Liverpool also gives me the passion for Liverpool Football Club. You will see regular updates from me on my Twitter page – I look forward to welcoming you to John Leggott College. |
