Previous Principals/CEOsDenise Williamson
Denise Williamson was appointed Principal of West Lancashire College in June 2017 having previously held the positions of Director of Quality and Support and Interim Principal after joining the college in January 2016. Prior to this, she was Assistant Principal at Warrington Collegiate for 12 years. |
Since joining NCG in 2004, Lisa has enjoyed working in a number of roles from classroom support and teaching to management and leadership, before progressing into the role of Assistant Principal at Newcastle College in 2021 and more recently to Deputy Principal of West Lancashire College in January 2024. She is experienced in curriculum planning, with enhanced knowledge of the Health and Care sector, as well as having an extensive understanding of quality improvement. Across 18 years of service Lisa has witnessed significant change in the College and the FE sector as a whole and has had the privilege of witnessing the progress and development of countless numbers of students fulfilling their potential and realising their ambitions. She understands the profound impact our College has on the communities it serves, supporting individuals to develop their skills and talents and strengthening the prosperity of our local area.
